What We Do
Leaving Tracks, Inc. (LTI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to raise awareness about racing greyhounds and to support adoption groups in the placement of retired racers as family pets.
One hundred percent of the net funds raised by Leaving Tracks goes to greyhound advocacy and education, as well as to support select adoption groups in need.
Thanks to your generous support, Leaving Tracks, Inc. has been able to:
- Make 104 donations to 49 greyhound rescue and advocacy organizations, ranging from $100 to over $5,700, totalling $32,657 through March 31, 2013.
- Provide all or part of the expenses for 4 volunteers to work at Scooby in Medina del Campo and the Fundacion Benjamin Mehnert.
- Provide thousands of dollars of in-kind donations of veterinary supplies, auction items, donation jackets, and gift baskets to organizations in the United States and Spain.
